Before I start, I just want to clarify I am not working for or with any of the companies mentioned in this post, I am only sharing my love for Autumn fashion in the hope that others will love it too.
Autumn is officially here, and it’s the perfect season for layers *insert Shrek quote here* I’m not really one for bold colours, however I am slowly learning how to incorporate a bit of colour into my wardrobe one step at a time, you will mostly see neutral colours in this post as they are my go to for staple pieces that will still be in trend for years to come.
Coats & Jackets
With the colder weather arriving my love for coats has come back and there are so many on trend to choose from. My favourite place to shop for coats has to be ASOS, I adore ASOS and they are so ahead on the trends. I have to start with a shacket, I couldn’t write this post and not include the most popular staple that’s out there at the moment. Here’s an example of one of my favourites, I love a neutral colour for this as it will go with everything!

One more coat that I wanted to add to this post is a trench coat, I love these, comfort and style in one, it’s a win win!

Tops
Now in my opinion you can’t go wrong with a black or white tee, they are staple pieces that will last all year round, and go perfectly with a statement trouser. You can get these in good quality anywhere on the high street.
I do love a roll neck jumper, chunky knit and all the cosiness! I have fallen in love with this one from Missguided, it has a splash of colour that my wardrobe may need and I think it’s the perfect jumper that looks stylish but will hug you like a blanket.

Accessories
I used to neglect accessories but now that I’m older I notice how much of a difference they make to an outfit, and I’ve got a few favourites that I want to share this season. Let’s start with a shoulder bag, I love a shoulder bag, and this one from Missguided as such a staple piece, and it’s slightly bigger than your average shoulder bag which I think it’s important as I do tend to pack everything but the kitchen sink in my handbag when I go out.

One of my other favourite staple pieces is not for everyone but for all you hat lovers out there I think this is perfect for Autumn.
